CSE Students Shine in Nationwide RBI 90 Quiz Competition
Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, is proud to announce that Mr. Anand Kumbar and Miss. Madhura Chilakandi, students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, have achieved a remarkable feat by qualifying for the RBI 90 Quiz, a nationwide general knowledge-based competition for undergraduate students.
Participation in KSCST State Level Poster Presentation and Exhibition at Sharnbasva University, Kalaburgi
“Smart Glasses for Visually Impaired People” developed by Mr. Vijaykumar R., Ms. Akshata Teggi, Ms. Divya S. Guddadamani, and Ms. Laxmi C. Naik under the guidance of Prof. Gautam Dematti, this innovative project presented a technology-driven solution to aid visually impaired individuals. The smart glasses are designed to enhance the user’s sensory perception, thereby improving their ability to navigate their surroundings.
AITM Students participated at Startup Mahakumbh in New Delhi

National Level Technical Fest
AITM students bagged the First Prize in Python Crew Event at National Level Technical Fest organized by Sharad Institute of Technology College Of Engineering, Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, Maharashtra Mr. Shrinath K. Korajkar, student from Department of Computer Science Engineering bagged the First prize in Python Crew Event- A Technical Event. Total 16 Students from Angadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi had participated in various events.

Mr. Vidhyadhar Hanji, Enhances Staff Training Session at Honeywell International School.
Mr. Vidhyadhar Hanji, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, recently added his expertise to the staff training session at Honeywell International School, Parishwad. The event, held on 29th May 2024, was centered around the crucial topic of “Artificial Intelligence.” Mr. Vidhyadhar Hanji was invited as a distinguished resource person to share insights and expertise with the staff of Honeywell International School.

In a distinguished recognition, Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Dean Academics and HOD, CSE at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management- AITM, Belagavi was invited as the guest speaker by the Google Developers Community and Belagavi Women Techmakers. The event, held on Women’s Day, March 10th 2024, at Cleancode, centered around the pivotal topic “How will AI impact the future?” Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni delivered an insightful discourse, sharing her expertise on the profound impact of artificial intelligence on the future landscape. “Placement Cell” Application
“Placement Cell” Android app developed by Miss LAXMI I KURBET, ABHISHEK B. HANAMAGOND and DNYANESH E. KAKADE students of CSE, AITM .The Placement Cell App enables us to carry out Placement activities of our Institute in an organized way and mainly creates a communication bridge between the Placement officer and the students.
“BookMyOccasion” Application
The BookMyOccasion Android App created by Mr. Sameer Burli, Mr. Shreyas Vithalkar, Mr. Abhishek Hadapad and Mr. Rahul More describes a solution that enables to solve specific Auditorium availability issues in an Institute so as to avoid confusion at the occupancy of a party at any specific time frame.
“Orthoclue” Application
Orthoclue is a Dental Appointment Booking application which can be used by both, the patient & the doctor. The patient can create an account then will be redirected to a screen wherein he has buttons to view information about all the dental departments & also book an appointment. After the appointment is booked the doctor can view the bookings in his account & view the problem written by the patient during appointment. Once the consultation is done, the doctor can also write his/her advice to the patient in the appointment section which the patient can view in his account. The patient can view the advice & also give his/her feedback to the doctor as well. This application is being created by students of Computer Science and Engineering namely Mr. Umarfarooq. B, Mr. Afran D, Mr. Srinath K, Mr. Krishna M and Mr. Vinay S K
“AITM Bus Info” Application
The AITM Bus Info is an Android Application developed to track college bus location in real-time using the GPS device installed in Bus or by using driver’s phone location. The Application also allows staffs to share their location and which can be tracked by Admin. Alongside, user can also make a call directly to the Bus Driver. This application is being created by student of Computer Science and Engineering namely Mr. Umarfarooq
“Smart Attendance" Application
“Smart Attendance System” is designed to take attendance in a smart way using advanced technology i.e., using face recognition. This application can recognize multiple faces at the same instance. This application uses OpenCV (open computer vision) module to recognize faces. This application is being created by student of Computer Science and Engineering namely Mr. Umarfarooq.

- An International UK patent has been granted for the design of “Artificial Intelligence-Based Medical Equipment for Cancer Classification Using Gene Profiles”. The innovative research was led by Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Dean Academics and Mr. Vishalkirthi Patil, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering & Placement Officer.
- Prof. Gautam Dematti was being invited as a Judge for the “Mobile Marvel” event at Avalanche 2024, hosted by KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belagavi.
- Prof. Manjunath Patil Secures 3rd Prize in Badminton Premier League (BPL-3) 2024
- Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni, HOD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AITM successfully completed her Ph.D. Degree.
- Prof. Virupaxayya V Hosallimath presented a paper at IEEE International Conference on Communication, Computing & Industry 4.0 in 2022 .
