Guest Talk:Building your Roadmap-setting Goals After Graduation

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized an impactful Guest Talk on “Building Your Roadmap: Setting Goals after Graduation” on 5th December 2025 for Second Year CSE students.The session was delivered by Mr. Ajeet Pattar, Founder & CEO, Infynow Software Solutions, Belagavi, who shared valuable insights on career planning, industry expectations, skill development, and long-term goal setting. Students gained practical guidance on designing structured 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year career roadmaps, enhancing employability, and building a strong professional identity while maintaining mental well-being.The event was coordinated by Mrs. Upama Kulkarni, Mrs. Avanti Patil, Mrs. Priyanka Sheelavantar, and Mr. Santosh Patil, Assistant Professors, Department of CSE under the able guidance of Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni, HoD, CSE and Dean Academics, AITM.The guest talk proved to be an enriching and motivating experience, equipping students with clarity, confidence, and a future-ready mindset.

AICTE–ATAL Sponsored One Week Faculty Development Program on “Exploring the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Healthcare and Future Challenges”

Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized an AICTE–ATAL Sponsored One Week Offline Faculty Development Program on “Exploring the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Healthcare and Future Challenges.” The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Damodar Reddy Edla, Professor & Dean (Students Welfare), NIT Goa, Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni, ATAL FDP Coordinator, and Prof. Vishalkirthi Patil, Institute FDP Coordinator.

Capstone Project Exhibition – 2025

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, organized the Capstone Project Exhibition – 2025 on 5th December 2025 at the CSE Department. The exhibition provided a platform for final-year students to present their innovative and impactful capstone projects, showcasing their technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, along with Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni, HoD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Dean Academics, AITM, Prof. Priyanka Pujari, Associate Dean, AITM, Prof. Gautam Dematti, Project Coordinator, CSE and the faculty members of the CSE Department.

Inauguration of ATAL Sponsored One Week Faculty Development Program at AITM

Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, inaugurated One Week Faculty Development Program (FDP) sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy on the theme “Exploring the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Healthcare and Future Challenges.”

Dr. Damodar Reddy Edla, Professor and Dean (Students Welfare), National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring inaugural address highlighting the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence in transforming the healthcare sector and its future prospects.

SAMVARGA – 2K25: Inauguration of ACE, Launch of TECHVEDA, and Fresher’s Welcome

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized the Inaugural Function of the Association of Computer Engineers (ACE) – “SAMVARGA – 2K25” and the Fresher’s Welcome on 9th October 2025 (Thursday) at 11:00 a.m.

The event also witnessed the launch of the new departmental technical magazine, “TECHVEDA”, which aims to showcase innovative ideas, research insights, and creative technical contributions from students and faculty members of the CSE Department.

Internal Smart India Hackathon 2025

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology & Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully conducted the Internal Hackathon for SIH 2025 on 26th September 2025. Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, and partner organizations. It provides students with a platform to solve problems faced by industries, government departments, and society.

Induction Program for 3rd Semester CSE Students

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, organized the Induction Program for 3rd Semester CSE Students on 22nd September 2025. The program aimed to familiarize students with the academic, departmental, and professional aspects of their journey in the CSE branch.

Teachers’ Day with Health Awareness Walkathon

On the eve of Teachers’ Day, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, actively participated in the Belagavi Walkathon 2025 organized by the Rotary Club of Belgaum Central on 5th September 2025 at 6:30 a.m. The walkathon was organized to support a noble cause of women cancer awareness. The initiative was taken by Dr. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, AITM. All the faculty members participated in the walkathon with great enthusiasm.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, in association with the AITM Training and Placement Cell and AITM ACM Chapter, organized a Guest Talk on “Shaping Your Career in the Age of AI” for the 5th and 7th semester students on Saturday, 23rd August 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in the AITM Auditorium.

VENCER 2K25 – A National Level Techno-Cultural Fest

Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, hosted its much-awaited National Level Techno-Cultural Fest – VENCER 2K25, a two-day celebration of talent, innovation, and cultural vibrance. The fest brought together over 200 students from various engineering colleges across Belagavi, showcasing the event’s growing popularity and wide-reaching appeal.

Suresh Angadi Education Foundation’s (SAEF) Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized a National-Level Technical Project Competition – “INGENIOUS-2025” on the occasion of National Science Day. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their innovative projects and unleash their creative potential in the field of engineering and technology.

The competition witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 165 projects and participation of over 700 students from various engineering disciplines across India

Industrial Visit to Cyber Verse Foundation, Mysore

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized an Industrial visit to Cyber Verse Foundation, Mysore, for its 7th-semester students. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industry operations and enhance their understanding of advanced technical concepts.

Robotics International Hackathon

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Robotics & Automation at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), in collaboration with Wefaa Robotics, Singapore, successfully hosted an electrifying Robotics International Hackathon on November 14, 2024. The event garnered an overwhelming response, drawing enthusiastic participants from various disciplines.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Digital Awareness Program

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized a “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Digital Awareness Program” on November 9, 2024. The program, a part of the AICTE Activity initiative, was conducted by the 5th semester students of the department and held at VBSS High School, Savagaon, Belagavi.

Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research”

Faculty Development Program on “Research Publication and Ethics”. Day 1: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Robotics and Automation at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, in association with the AITM ACM Chapter, successfully organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research Publication and Ethics.” The session was conducted by the esteemed resource person, Dr. T. Ram Prabhu, Joint Director and Scientist at DRDO, Bengaluru, who provided valuable insights into maintaining high standards in academic research. Day 2: The program featured two insightful sessions: • Session I: “Research Ethics and Plagiarism” by Dr. D. H. Rao, Academic Advisor at AITM, focused on the critical importance of maintaining integrity in research, addressing issues of plagiarism, and adhering to ethical standards in academic publishing. • Session II: “Mastering Journal Paper Writing: Strategies for Success” by Dr. Pooja Angolkar, Head of the Department of Robotics and Automation at AITM, offered practical insights into writing successful research papers, providing valuable strategies for faculty members aiming to publish in high-impact journals. Day 3: Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research.” The insightful session was led by Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal and Director of AITM, who provided valuable perspectives on research methodologies and the importance of ethical research practices.

Inauguration of Association of Computer Engineers (ACE) – “SAMVARGA 2K24”

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, hosted the inaugural ceremony of the Association of Computer Engineers (ACE) “SAMVARGA 2K24” on 3rd October 2024. R. Udupi, a distinguished Professor from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AITM, Belagavi, as the keynote speaker.

Two Days Training on “Software Design and Testing” at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) successfully organized a two-days training program on “Software Design and Testing” for the students of the 6th Semester on July 22nd and 23rd, 2024. Mr. Srinivasan Desikan, Managing Director of QualPlayers and the renowned author of the best-selling book “Software Testing: Principles and Practices,” was the primary resource person for the event. His extensive industry experience and profound knowledge significantly enriched the training sessions. Alongside him, Prof. Gautam Dematti and Prof. Rudrayya Y, Assistant Professors from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at AITM, contributed their academic expertise to the program.

Parents Meet 2024

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi took a significant step in enhancing the capabilities of its faculty members by organizing an informative and inspiring talk titled “Teach like a Champion – Be a Professional Teacher” on 25th October 2023. The event was designed to equip educators of Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF) with the skills and mindset needed to excel in their roles as professional educators.
The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. D. H. Rao, Professor and Academic Advisor, AITM, Belagavi, a distinguished education expert with a wealth of experience in the field. Sir is renowned for his passion and commitment to raising standard of education. Sir’s presentation left a lasting impact on the faculty members.

Parents – Mentors Interaction 2023

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Savagaon Road, Belagavi, Karnataka organized Parents – Mentors Interaction 2023 on 06.09.2023 for the students of CSE.

 

The Parents-Mentors Interaction main purpose is for the parents to know their ward’s performance in the academics, his/her regularity in the classes, to make the parents aware of the facilities & initiatives taken by the department etc.

Coding Club

In a bid to foster technological innovation and enhance coding skills among students, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi recently organized a dynamic and engaging Coding activity on 26th August 2023.

 

The event aimed to provide the students of AITM with a hands-on experience, challenging them to solve real-world problems through programming and creative thinking.

FDP on “EFFECTIVE TEACHING LEARNING PEDAGOGY”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management- AITM, Belagavi, Successfully organized Three Days Faculty Development Program(FDP) on “EFFECTIVE TEACHING LEARNING PEDAGOGY“ from 16th August to 18th August 2023. The program included 04 sessions from various academic experts.

Webinar on “Introduction to Virtual Labs”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted Webinar on “Introduction to Virtual Labs ” for the students of AI & DS, CSE and ECE , AITM Belagavion 18th August 2023.

 

This webinar was organized to provide remote-access to simulation-based Labs in various disciplines of Science and Engineering, to enthuse students to conduct experiments by arousing their curiosity. This would help them in learning basic and advanced concepts through remote experimentation and to provide a complete Learning Management System around the Virtual Labs where the students/ teachers can avail the various tools for learning, including additional web-resources, video-lectures, animated demonstrations and self-evaluation.

Industrial Visit to GTTC, Belagavi

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management -AITM , Belagavi organized Industrial Visit for 4th Semester students to GTTC, Belagavi on 17th of August 2023.

 

Students visited different labs like IOT, Automation, SAP, Robotics, 3D printing Lab and Electronics Lab and gained an exposure on the same. Accompanied by them were Prof. Avanti Patil, Prof. Vidyadhar Hanji and Prof. Pavan K.

Alumni Meet 2023

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi organized Alumni Meet in Hybrid Mode on 12th August 2023. Alumni from various batches converged for the Alumni Meet where the former students reminisced about their college days, celebrated their achievements, and established new connections.

 

Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni, HOD, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering welcomed all the Alumni to the alumni meet gave an overview of the department, emphasized the importance of alumni in contributing to the growth and development of their alma mater.

Two Days Hands-On Workshop on Cyber Security

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SAEF’s, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Savagaon Road, Belagavi, Karnataka successfully organized a “Two Days Hands-On Workshop on Cyber Security” under the banner of Computer Society of India (CSI) from 13th to 14th June 2023.

 

The valedictory function for the same was organized on 14th June 2023 in the presence of the resource person Shri Gajendra Deshpande, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE, AITM and Mr. Pradosh Hegde, Director, Eyesec Cyber Security Solutions, Pvt. Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi inaugurated Computer Society of India (CSI) student chapter at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi on 8th May, Monday @10 a.m.

 

Mr. Chandra Dasaka, Head- Academic and Industry Council of CSI was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal and Director, AITM, Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Head of CSE Department along with all the HOD’s , Deans, staff and students presided the function.

WEBINAR ON “INTRODUCTION TO VIRTUAL LABS”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Angadi Institute of Technology & Management-AITM, Belagavi organized a Webinar on “Introduction to Virtual Labs”in association with NITK, Surathkal by the Resource person Mrs. Vismaya, Senior Research Fellow, NITK Surathkal and the Virtual Labs Team, Working at Centre for System Design, NITK Surathkal on 23.02.2023.

 

The motive of the event was to bring out the awareness about the Virtual Labs and its Application in Real-Time. Mrs. Vismaya highlighted about having the front-line knowledge about Simulating the tools, equipment, tests and procedures used in various engineering departments.

CLUB ACTIVITIES 2022

Club activities were conducted for the students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) on 25.11.2022 and 26.11.2022. Activities like Introduce Yourself, Pick and Speak, Group Discussion and Coding were conducted for the students.  These activities help students develop sense of unity and teamwork, learning how to work with others in reaching the same goals. They help learners develop social skills.

GUEST TALK ON ROLE OF KUBERNETES IN DEVOPS

Guest Talk on “Role of Kubernetes in DevOps” was organized for the students of Computer Science and Engineering students by Mr. Ijajahmed Momin, DevOps Engineer, DXC Technology Ltd, Bangalore on 26.11.2022.

The purpose of this Guest lecture was to familiarize 7^th semester students with the Role of Kubernetes in DevOps. Kubernetes is a container orchestrator platform and is setup up on multiple nodes which host those containers and can be geographically dispersed to support failover, etc. Kubernetes is a portable, extensible, open-source platform for managing containerized workloads and services that facilitates both declarative configuration and automation. It has a large, rapidly growing ecosystem. Kubernetes services, support, and tools are widely available.

Guest talk on ” Cloud based technologies in context of digitization of manufacturing industries/ PDM ” was organized on 17th November 2022 at 2.00 p.m. The Guest speakers for the Guest Talk were Mr. Edward Conroy, IIoT Consultant, Germany and Dr. Shirish Kerur, Consultant, Crevavi Technologies pvt.Ltd. Belagavi. The outcome of the talk was to understand about the latest technological developments around the world. Become aware of skills that need to be imbibed to be industry ready. Learn about the importance of embedded systems, latest programming languages, IoT, Digital Thread and Digital Twin technology etc. Understand the meaning and implementation of Industry 4.0.

‘LOVE INDIA SERVE INDIA’- A YOUTH WORKSHOP ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT & DEFENCE SERVICES

A youth workshop on personality development and defense services organised by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama was attended by the students of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi on 18th October 2022.

The workshop was organised In the commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Belagavi from 16th to 27th October 1892.

Speech by Rear Admiral Suresh Kumar Grewal (Retd) on ‘Love India’ advised as How to overcome distractions and be selfless in contributing to our nation. Be willing to give whatever you can for the betterment of our country. To rise above all the political, cultural and religious aspects and serve humanity.

VENCER-2022, A Two-Days National Level Techno-Cultural Fest The most awaited event of the year VENCER-2022 was organized at Angadi Institute of technology & Management (AITM), Belagavi on 27th and 28th June, 2022. The chief guest of the Inauguration function of VENCER-2022 was Sri Vijay Gundannavar, Executive Director (Retired), Bharat Electronics Ltd., Chennai & Member, Experts Panel, RAC, DRDO, Delhi.

Two Days Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics”

A symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics was conducted on 24th and 25th June 2022. The symposium was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Smt Mangal Angadi Madam and Registrar Evaluation (VTU) Dr. B. E. Rangaswamy. The opening keynote Speaker of the Symposium was Dr Kavi Mahesh, Director, IIIT Dharwad. A session on AI and Robotics in Automobile applications was conducted by Mr. Aravindraj. A, Manager, Vehicle Attribute Engineering, Horiba Pvt India Ltd, Pune explaining the concept of self-driving cars and the importance of AI in vehicular technologies. A session on AI – Present and Future was conducted by Mr. Ajay Kabadi, Founder & CEO, Docketrun Pvt Ltd, Huballi .The session included explanation of present applications of AI with interesting videos of the current scenario. The session also concentrated on what will be the future of AI.

Three Days Hands on Workshop on “Django- Python Web Framework”

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi conducted Three Days Hands on Workshop on “Django- Python Web Framework” for 6th Semester students from 25th May to 27th May 2022.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Vaibhav Chavan, CEO, ZEEL CODE LABS.

Mr. Vaibhav Chavan explained the Introduction to Django and MVC framework, Installation of Django and configuration testing, Creation of First Django application with Http response with URL configuration, Django application with rendering using HTML and setting file, Get and Post methods and Understanding admin panel and database connectivity.

Parents Meet 2022

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Savagaon Road, Belagavi, Karnataka successfully organized Parents Meet 2022 on 31st May 2022 at 12:00 pm.

Parents’ meet was conducted in the presence of Prof. Sagar Birje, HOD, Computer Science & Engineering Department, Faculty, Students, and Parents.

Industry Mentor Interaction Program

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SAEF’s Angadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi organized Industry Mentor Interaction Program for Final year and Pre final year of Computer Science & Engineering students on 30.4.2022.

The program was conducted in both offline and online mode by the Industry Mentors.

The Industry mentors Mr. Mrutyunjay Hiremath, Sr. Software Engineer, HP Solutions, Bangalore and Mr. Mahesh Gunjikar, CEO, CloudThat Solutions, Bangalore briefed students regarding the benefits of industry mentorship program for students that are Exposure to new ideas and ways of thinking, Advice on developing strengths and overcoming weaknesses, Guidance on professional development and advancement, increased visibility and recognition within the company and the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.

Internal Institute Level Online Smart India Hackathon (SIH)-2022

Angadi Institute of Technology & Management, Belagavi successfully organised online Internal Institute Level Online Smart India Hackathon (SIH)-2022 from 21.03.2022 to 22.03.2022.

Smart India Hackathon 2022 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.

Total 14 participated in the event (9 Software Project teams and 5 Hardware Project teams) out of which Three (03) Teams working on Hardware projects and Six (06) teams working on Software projects were shortlisted in the Internal Institute Level Smart India Hackathon (SIH)-2022.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SAEF’s, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Savagaon Road, Belagavi, Karnataka successfully organized AICTE activity point program at Benakanhalli, Belagavi on “Awareness of 100% Digital money transaction” for Final year students. AICTE, Delhi has mandated degree students to participate in the “Activity Points Program” in order to uplift and develop the local community by presenting their support and involvement in various sections in skill-building and other government initiatives. Also, Digi Dhan Abhiyan is a Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) campaign to promote cashless transactions. The campaign aims to enable every citizen, small trader, and merchant to promote digital payment in their everyday financial transactions.

 

Students visited the houses and shops of Benakahalli to create an awareness regarding 100% Digital money transactions and how Payment without cash is Possible.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SAEF’s, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Savagaon Road, Belagavi, Karnataka successfully organized AICTE activity point program at Benakanhalli, Belagavi on “Awareness of Initiative of government -Swachh Bharat” for the Final year students. AICTE, Delhi has mandated degree students to participate in the “Activity Points Program” in order to uplift and develop the local community by presenting their support and involvement in various sections in skill-building and other government initiatives.

 

Students visited the Marathi & Kannada medium government high schools in Benakanahalli and played a skit to demonstrate their awareness regarding Swachh Bharat. We got a good response from the villagers as well as from the children of the government High school. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by the Government of India to solve the problems of sanitation and waste management in India by ensuring hygiene across the country.
